I started making these belly bands and harnesses because my Yorkies have long hair,
which doesn't mix well with hook and loop tape. Even the sound of it began to give
Kokomo a real phobia. A few harnesses I purchased online with only straps across
the neck and chest, secured with heavy-duty snaps, were made without any “ease” added
to the measurements I submitted. They were too tight and restrictive and choked
Zoe, who pulls on the leash. And little Kokomo was uncomfortable, too. My vest-style
harnesses (with “arm” holes and full bodices like peoples' clothing) have proven
secure for my 10-pound Zoe and are available for dogs weighing anywhere between about
2 to 11 pounds. Buckled belly bands can be selected in all cotton content (except
buckle and elastic) or in satin or silk “Show Boy” styles. Linings for other garments
in your choice of satin or silk. There is a only one designer/tailor/seamstress
here (me) and every item you select will be made just for you and your dog when you
order. There is NO warehouse and little or no pre-made inventory. New fabrics will
be posted as they become available as well as photos of new garments (check the
“What’s New” page.) Special requests for fabric, embellishment, etc. will be accommodated
whenever and as soon as possible. If anything on this site interests you or you

to inquire about special occasion or holiday outfits your dog may need. Leashes,
hair bows, beds, mini afghans, and cart covers can be purchased to your order, also.
